Road Freight NSW

2024

Road Freight NSW (RFNSW) is the peak industry organisation in NSW representing trucking operators. Its members range from some of the nation’s largest transport companies through to small family businesses. Road Freight’s purpose is to represent the interests of their members, actively engaging with all levels of government, senior public servants and bureaucrats to bring about positive change.

RFNSW contacted me to produce a social media campaign for them highlighting the female members of their organisation for International Women’s Day 2024. This campaign was to align with this year's theme, ‘Inspire Inclusion’. I used photo based collages and member profiles to meet this goal, showcasing the various roles women have that are often overlooked in the predominantly male industry. 

To produce this campaign I focused on photography-based content utilising collages to include as many members as possible, and showcase the variety of work. I followed the established design style of RFNSW to ensure my work flowed with their existing assets and social media presence, while using specific design elements throughout the posts to create a separate identity for the campaign.

Given the high number of photographs in the designs, I used a black and white filter to create cohesion, accenting with teal tinted photos to highlight particular images and prevent them from blurring together. I chose teal as this was RFNSW’s primary colour, and its brightness popped against the black and white.
